The new Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line – a sportier cosmetic take on VW’s compact SUV come crossover – was actually revealed almost a year ago, but it’s take VW UK since then to get round to offering it in the UK. The British Motor Show - Cancelled for 2010, and probably permanently
Well, I suppose it’s not really a great surprise, but it’s still sad to see the demise of the British Motor Show. The SMMT (organisers of the British Motor Show) announced this lunchtime that the 2010 show has been cancelled. They stated that this was due to the crisis in the car industry at present and the ongoing world financial crisis.
With Top Gear on its holidays until 2013 because the schedules are full, and Hammond playing Bond, May & Clarkson do the worst cars…in the world. It’s a strange Autumn on BBC2 when we don’t have a Top Gear series at 8pm on a Sunday evening. But that’s because the schedules are full with everything from Strictly to X Factor via Celebs in the Jungle.
